Country Living Magazine features Ireland in their August Issue

This months Country Living Magazine has a great little travel feature on Ireland, with their recommendations on best places to visit, stay and eat. It invites you to "Head off the beaten track to the timeless counties at the heart of the Eire and discover an away-from-it-all world where grand houses, beautiful gardens and traditional villages are hidden among verdant farmland."

Guildford Summer Festival

Next week Roothies will be on Guildford High Street as part of the Guildford Summer Festival. We will have all our throw collections on display as well as some brand new products which are being shipped from Ireland at this very moment. So if this is your area make sure you don't miss us! We will be located directly underneath the big clock in the high street from Thursday 30th - Saturday 2nd July from 9am - 5pm. 

Roothies loves Wimbledon!

One of our favourite events of the year is about to begin...Wimbledon! It wouldn't be summer without it so whether you're sitting on centre court sipping pimms or picnicking on Henman Hill make sure you don't forget your Roothies throw!

Spring Fair Date Announced!

Roothies is proud to announce that we will be fully launching at the Country Living Spring Fair 2011 at stand M3. We will be unveiling our new collections including new throw colours which will lift you right into Spring; beautiful loosely woven 100% cashmere scarves in lovely light pastel colours; and after the great success of Roothies own Winter candle 'Irish Winter,' we will be launching our new fragrance 'Irish Home.'

The fair will also coincide with the full launch of Roothies.com, where you will be able to view all our products, buy online and much much more! So do visit back soon and we look forward to meeting you at the fair!

Spring is right around the corner...

and so is the Roothies online launch! Last week was a big week for us, with the new collections arriving from the mills, as well as two big photoshoots with an excellent team of photographers, stylists, film makers and models. We are now retouching photos and editing virals as quickly as we can so the site can go live! We will also soon be announcing Spring fair dates, so do check back soon.

Happy New Year from Roothies

Wishing you all a very happy and prosperous 2011, from all of us here at Roothies. We are all working really hard towards the launch of the website which we are aiming to have up and running for early March. In the next two weeks we have an action packed schedule with several photoshoots, virals and lots of top secret goodies which we can't wait to launch and see what you all think.

We will also soon be posting several Spring fairs which we will be attending with our new collections, so do check back soon!

Oh the weather outside is frightful!

But here at Roothies we're making the most of it! We've been rushing outside with cameras, reflectors and as many models as we can find, to snap some of our latest products in the snow. Here in the office we have all put our Christmas shopping on hold, as we can't seem to tear ourselves away from working around the clock for the launch of roothies.com in the New Year - excited!

Roothies will not be launching online until the New Year, but due to the positive feedback and demand from our soft launches, if you would like to purchase any of our products, and cannot make it to one of our events, then please feel free to email us at info@roothies.com with your enquiry. Roothies Debut

This week was Roothies debut, at Kensington's Boutique de Noel. Thank you to everyone who came to see us and for all the great comments from our new customers. Our online shop will not be launching until the New Year, but please feel free to email us at info@roothies.com if you would like any information or would like to place an order in the run up to Christmas. We can also gift wrap for you to make the perfect gift.

Boutique de Noel

Roothies will be having a number of soft launches in the run up Christmas, before a full launch in the New Year. Our first fair of the season will be Boutique de Noel , in Kensington in aid of The Junior League of London.

We will be selling luxury throws in Lambswool, Wool and Mohair. Lambswool scarves, limited addition Cashmere scarves, all of which are leaving the Mill for the Irish Sea as we type. Roothies will also be selling their very own 2010 winter candle, called Irish Winter.

Be sure to come see us at our first fair and enjoy a glass of wine and festive cheer.

Roothies draws inspiration form Ireland - its culture, tradition, heritage and beautiful landscape, to provide luxury and lifestyle homewares. 

Roothies is dedicated in uniting contemporary design to traditional skills and bringing Irish products, to a high end market, without a smiling Leprechaun in sight. Roothies believe in quality, providing heirloom purchases that will be treasured forever.

In support of The Campaign for Wool, Roothies will be launching online in the New Year with a collection of throws in Lambswool, Wool and Mohair, all made in Ireland’s oldest mills. However, we will be having a number of soft launches in the run up to Christmas, so please check back for dates soon.
